TEXTURE & SCENT

It comes out in a white cream but the texture is a little more thick like a lotion and easy to rinse off. This is a ‘soap-free’ cleanser and smells like a medicine.

MY THOUGHT

Actually this is my second ‘soap-free’ cleanser after Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. I loved the experience using Dr Roebuck’s Nossa Nourishing Creme Cleanser formula. I liked how the cleanser worked and it was effective even though this a non-foaming cleanser. I felt more refreshing and much cleaner afterward. The texture and smell, both pleasant. Usually I’m using this cleanser for my morning routine because it’s quite gentle and for night routine I prefer normal foaming cleanser with pH balance for my skin.

I was fortunate that my skin did not have any bad reactions in this product. There is no tight feeling for me after using this cleanser. Feels smooth, creamy and It made my skin super soft after using. If you’re looking for a non-foaming and gentle for your skin, I highly recommended you to try this cleanser especially those with a sensitive skin.

HOW TO USE

Apply the sunscreen product just before exposure. Re-apply frequently and generously to maintain high levels of protection, especially after swimming, toweling, or perspiring.

Keep in mind that excessive solar exposure is dangerous, and that not even products with very high protection can keep your skin 100% shielded from sun damage.

SKIN TYPE

Suitable for combination, oily & acne-prone skin.

Dry Skin : Glycerin is a powerfully moisturizing. Tocopherol (Vitamin E) is good for skin regeneration & elasticity.

Oily / Acne-prone skin : Salicylic Acid is effective at regulating oil / sebum production. But Stearic Acid can potentially block pores.

Sensitive Skin : Titanium Dioxide is one of physical sunscreen ingredient that suitable for sensitive skin as a UV protection. But if your skin sensitive with Salicylic Acid, please avoid from using this product because it can occur skin irritation at high concentration.

PACKAGING

Comes in a white tube with pump dispenser opening and hygiene cap containing 50ml of sunscreen. Easy to dispense out the sunscreen without mess. The box is full of information.

SCENT / TEXTURE

It’s a white gel-cream texture (between gel and cream) with a very mild scent that I don’t know how to describe but disappears after a while and it does not bother me.

MY THOUGHT

I have combination-oily skin and tried this sunscreen because of my hormonal breakouts. This is my third sunscreen after Klairs Airy Soft UV Essence and Heliocare Gel Oil-Free. La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti-Imperfections SPF50+ is a hybrid sunscreen since the combination of using both Chemical & Physical sunscreen. 1 from physical sunscreen + 8 from chemical sunscreen. You can check at ‘Key Ingredients’ section at above.

So far, this sunscreen work well on my skin. Apply using 2 fingers rule and reapply every 4 hours every day without skip at my morning routine. The texture for me is a little bit tacky to rub onto my skin but sinks in well after a few minutes without leaving any white cast, greasiness & shiny effect.

Beside that, I love Niacinamide, Vitamin E and Salicylic Acid in this sunscreen. As we know, Niacinamide is very good for brightening effect, Vitamin E good for anti-aging and Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) which is good for acne-fighting agent. So, I highly recommended for acne-prone skin and oily skin to try this sunscreen. It really helps my hormonal acne and I think it’s caused by Salicylic Acid in this product.

The best thing is there was no irritating, redness or itching at all because of this sunscreen. Rating : 4.5/5. Minus 0.5 because of the price. Overall, is awesome!

MY THOUGHT

Firstly, I love any probiotics skincare. Probiotics skincare is good for our skin. Illiyoon probiotics skin barrier essence drop can strengthen your skin barrier. For combination to oily skin like me, 2-3 drops of essence is good enough to cover my entire face.

I’m using this essence only for morning routine because I need extra hydration for that time and it too thick for my PM routine. I definitely do think that it has helped my skin barrier to be a lot stronger. But I don’t like the scent, quite strong for me even though that scent disappears after a while and I do like using unscented products better.

2-3 drop of Illiyoon Essence after toner and following with moisturizer & sunscreen can make my skin feels healthy, nourished and glowy. I just put it directly onto my hands and pat away. For Dry Skin, I suggested 4-5 drops is enough. As usual, the best part is there was no irritating, redness or itching at all because of this essence. This Illiyoon essence work well on my skin.

The texture is a clear gel and slightly sticky. But quickly absorb & doesn’t leave any greasy on my skin. Even though the texture is sticky but easy to spread on your face. For scent, it has a sweet smells like a medicated ointment.

MY THOUGH

This is my first product from Some by Mi that I’ve ever tried in my skincare journey. This serum very tempting because of their red bottle and ingredients. I’m using almost 2 months starting with trial size bottle 10ml & now continue using for 50ml size. Honestly, this serum is really work well on my skin after Dr.Jart Peptidin serum & Tia’m Vita B3 source. I’m using only 2 drops of the serum after cleansing and good enough to cover my entire face and neck.

At first, I was worried that this serum will would leave a greasy effect but luckily this serum doesn’t leave that feeling and easily seeps into the skin. I can apply for both morning & night routine.

I love the soothing effect because of their 8 soothing ingredients. It really gives a calming effect to my acne (hormonal acne) and my previous acne scar is slowly fading away. The best part is there was no irritating, redness or itching at all because of this serum. This is one of the reason why I repurchase and continue using this serum.

Those with sensitive skin & acne-prone skin, I’m highly recommended to try this serum if you don’t have any problem with essential oil. Trust me, you will fall in love with this serum like me. And my skin type is combination-oily skin.
